Originally known as the Paustian Modular Sofa, Paradigm was designed in 1969 by Erik Rasmussen (1930–1984). In 2025, Montana relaunched the iconic modular sofa in a version that honors the original design while maintaining functionality and flexibility.

Paradigm is a modular sofa system consisting of left and right corner modules, a middle module, and an ottoman, which can easily be combined, expanded, or separated depending on the needs of the space and the changes of life.

The sofa is available in a carefully curated selection of upholsteries and colors, including textiles from Kvadrat and Gabriel. Furthermore, it is certified with the EU Ecolabel, provided that the chosen textile also carries the certification. The removable cover makes it easy to change the sofa’s expression while ensuring simple maintenance.
